About the Company:
Security Paper Limited (SPL) is a Public Listed Company, established in 1967, and is the sole manufacturer of security-featured paper in Pakistan. The company produces paper for banknotes, identity documents, financial instruments, educational certificates, and other security papers. SPL is certified under ISO 9001:2015 (Quality), ISO 14001:2015 (Environment), ISO 45001:2018 (Safety), and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 (Information Security). As an equal opportunity employer, SPL is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional for the following position, based in Karachi.

Position: DGM / Security Controller

Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Security Controller include:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining security protocols and measures within the factory to safeguard the production and delivery of banknote and other security papers to relevant customers.

  • Ensuring the highest level of security and protection for all resources, materials, information, assets, and finished products, including their accounting and safe custody.

  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders, law enforcement agencies, and intelligence agencies to ensure foolproof security of the company.

  • Facilitating external corporate affairs with various civic and government agencies as and when required.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's or Master's Degree (16 years of education).

  • Maximum age of 50 years as of the last date for submission of applications.

  • All degrees must be from HEC-recognized universities/institutes. In case of foreign qualification in the relevant disciplines, candidates must hold an equivalence certificate from the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Age & Experience Requirements:

  • Must be a retired Commissioned Officer of the Armed Forces of Pakistan, holding the rank of Major or Colonel (or equivalent).

  • Overall 15 years of experience in the Armed Forces.

  • Minimum 3 years of post-retirement experience in security management of sensitive installations, preferably in an industrial concern.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with requisite knowledge of the latest Access Control Systems (ACS) and CCTV systems, Pedestrian and Vehicle Access Control Systems, security risk analysis, and security audits.

Other Requirements:

  • Medical Category 'A'.
