SITUATION VACANT

Applications are invited from eligible candidates possessing a domicile of District Thatta for initial recruitment against the following non-technical posts (BPS-01 to BPS-04) in the office of the Superintending Engineer, Communication & Works Department, Thatta, at Makli.

TERMS & CONDITIONS / GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Application Submission: Candidates shall submit their applications on the prescribed application form, accompanied by two recent passport-size photographs and attested copies of their educational certificates, experience certificates (where applicable), CNIC, domicile, and PRC. Applications shall be addressed to the Superintending Engineer, Communication & Works Department, Thatta, at Makli.

  2. Deadline: Applications must reach the office of the undersigned within fifteen (15) days of the publication of this advertisement. Applications received after the prescribed closing date shall not be entertained.

  3. Age Relaxation: The upper age limit shall be subject to a general age relaxation of up to five (05) years in accordance with Government of Sindh Notification No. SOII (SGA&CD)5.64/2011 (Part-II), dated 06.03.2025.

  4. Quotas: The applicable quotas for persons with disabilities, women, minorities, and transgender persons shall be observed in accordance with the prevailing Government of Sindh policies, recruitment rules, and approved quota/roster arrangements.

  5. Government Employees: Candidates already serving in Government departments shall submit their applications through the proper channel, along with the required departmental permission/NOC, where applicable.

  6. Vacancy Variation: The number of vacancies may be varied by the competent authority.

  7. Shortlisting & Interviews: Only eligible and shortlisted candidates shall be called for a test/interview, as applicable to the post and in accordance with the approved recruitment procedure. Shortlisting shall be carried out on the basis of the prescribed eligibility criteria.

  8. TA/DA: No TA/DA shall be admissible to candidates appearing for any test or interview.

  9. Service Conditions: The nature and status of appointment shall be governed by the sanctioned status of the posts and the applicable Sindh Civil Servants Act, rules, and government instructions. Probation, confirmation, and other service conditions shall be regulated by the relevant rules.

  10. Test/Interview Announcement: The date, time, and venue of the test/interview shall be communicated to eligible candidates through advertisements in newspapers.

  11. Right to Cancel: The competent authority reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process or any vacancy in accordance with the applicable law and rules, without prejudice to any rights protected by law.
