The 119 posts break down as 80 PMS, 25 Excise and Taxation Officer and 14 Assistant Director Local Fund Audit. Of the 80 PMS posts, 61 are open merit, 16 minority quota and three for special persons.
Phase-II covered five compulsory and six optional papers. General Knowledge was already cleared in Phase-I.
Qualified candidates get call-up letters on the PPSC website, by SMS and by email. Bring original academic certificates and the documents named in your letter. Passing the written exam does not guarantee selection.
For a sense of format, the 2022 PMS cycle's assessment ran across several days at PPSC centres: a written psychological test first, then a group activity and the interview. Original CNIC was mandatory. That cycle's schedule was issued as a PPSC notice, and the same pattern is likely this time, but wait for your own letter.
At the time of writing, no new PMS advertisement or test date has been announced. PPSC has no fixed annual calendar for PMS. Exams follow vacancies, and the written stages are scheduled only after an advertisement. This page will be updated as soon as a notice appears.
Recent notices came with roughly two to three weeks' warning. The Phase-II schedule was notified on 8 April 2026 for papers starting 24 April, and the 2024-cycle Phase-I was reported in late November for 15 December. So don't wait for a date sheet weeks in advance.
To check official dates:
Open ppsc.gop.pk and go to Schedule → Exams (interviews are under Schedule → Interviews).
Look for the Combined Competitive Examination notice (Case No. 36-RC/2025 for this cycle).
Download your admission letter from the site once it is uploaded.
If nothing has reached you by SMS, email or the website, PPSC's own guidance is to call the UAN 042-111-988-722 or office lines 99202761-62 at least three days before the exam.
Centres are not fixed. In April 2026, PPSC moved the compulsory-paper centres of 1,216 Rawalpindi Division candidates (754 male, 462 female) to Lahore because of the security situation, and told them to re-download revised admission letters. Always use the latest letter.
